Many people have written me emails and asked questions in the comments above. What we used and what the measurements were are all mentioned in the questions above. So if you really wanted to build them just scroll thru the above post, look at the pictures of the beds and add it up. I have never had time with so many children to actually sit down and write it all up. Hope you find some plans that will work for you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06941712767626451024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863955725879655827.post-84463012575450065182015-08-19T10:46:46.770-07:002015-08-19T10:46:46.770-07:00Hi! I have answered many questions people have asked in past comments(above) that might help with what size wood we used for each part. We did buy full sheets of plywood and cut them to fit a twin mattress. 76 1/2 by 40 inches. I think it was 3/4 inch plywood. If you have any questions that are not answered in above comments feel free to ask and I will be glad to try to answer them. We are actually going to be building another set in the boys room soon but all stacked up in line instead of staggering them. We used 3 inch deck screws to screw them into the wall studs. We used several on each stud that they touched. We used an inset drill bit so we could use the plugs to make it all look more finished. The heights that we hung them at and the size of each box is in a comment up above some where. Not a hard plan at all. We are fixing to build tipple bunk beds again but for in the boys room. We are not going to stagger them as we did in the girls room. So will add those pictures and dementions when we finish that project some time in the next two months. So much so that we are going to be building another set into our boys room soon. I do not have a supply list but can tell you that the entire thing was made of good quality straight 2x4s and the boxes were 2x6's. We used thick plywood as the bottoms of each box and used three inch deck screws to attach them to the walls into the wall studs. Each screw can hold about 80 pounds so we used many. That, sanding and a coat of primer and paint and that was all. Not to complicated at all. Hope this helps and have a blessed day!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06941712767626451024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863955725879655827.post-54642965933986413192014-12-27T08:05:09.270-08:002014-12-27T08:05:09.270-08:00As a single mother of three with limited space thi...As a single mother of three with limited space this is a wonderful idea!
