What We Have Been Up To.

Summer!
That's what we have been up to!
We have had such a stressful life the last few years, we decided to try to simplify and de-stress our summer as much as possible.
We have all needed some down time badly.  So far so good, by the grace of God!
We have been busy but with life and fun, not appointments and commitments. We are planning and saving for a vacation too.  So this will be a relaxing, fun, summer to remember, by the grace of God.

The girls had their last recital for this dance season.  We don't allow our girls to wear makeup, so seeing them in their stage makeup is always shocking.  They look so much older with make up on!
We went to a free, local, Air Show.
The children loved seeing all the airplanes.

Carolyn and Elizabeth went for a fly!
We took Tim out for Fathers Day.  We love you dad, you are the best!
The gardens are taking a lot of time and are in full production.  Yum!
We've also had both our pregnant goats deliver in the last two weeks.  Both had twins We ended up with three girls and one boy.
This four foot snake was in our chicken coop.  We thought it had eaten an egg, only to regurgitate a gulf ball later.  We use gulf balls as dummy eggs in our nest boxes.  I guess that gulf ball was undigestable.  Poor thing.

I pray you are all having a blessed, happy and peaceful summer as well.  God be with you!

Psalm 23  The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Blessings,

susan

How is Antonio? My girls wore play make up a few years back and found they lost their desire for it! LOL!! So if they have money or tell me what gifts they'd like for Birthdays, makeup isn't even on the list! Carolyn and Elizabeth look beautiful! Are they best friends? Its so nice to have a sister! William just gets more handsome every year! How tall is he now? We had the same kitchen set for 26 years, just last year we donated it. No more babies. What kind of snake is that? Neat trick with the golf ball! I'm glad he could send it back up! Oh my I've missed your posts! LOVE and prayers to all!

    1. Hello Elizabeth! Hugs back to you all! Antonio is still struggling off and on in his health. I am planning on doing a post about him soon because so many people have been asking of him. Carolyn and Elizabeth get along most of the time. They do a lot together as they are only a few year apart. They really are friends. William is six foot tall! He is tall like his dad. Anna-Kate loves playing with that little kitchen every day. She cooks for her dolls and loves it. It is her favorite toy. I am not sure as to the type of snake it was. Maybe a king or a corn snake. It was not venomous. Last year we caught two snakes in the chicken coop over six foot long each! We have a lot of snakes around here. Some are poisonous. I think of you daily and often and keep you all in our prayers. Much love from me here in Georgia! Blessings!

  2. It's so nice to see you all! I miss you all! Your pool looks so refreshing, I could just feel myself being in the water there. : ) Yes, isn't it amazing how much older girls look with makeup? I could pass for 18 when I was only 14. Now I look in my 30's at almost 50 with no makeup! If I buy vodka for tinctures, I still get ID'ed sometimes. How neat with the plane. Where did you go that they could go fly? Wow! We know about the golf ball trick. We have heard wooden eggs work well too.

    1. I am so excited about your new home! I cant wait to see what you do with it all and see you all settled once again. We went to a local air show where they had plane rides for kids. The girls were the only ones that wanted to go. William wanted to but he was to old. Blessings!
